Clinical Notes & Warnings
- GBS <=1: Consider outpatient management per ACG guidelines.
- Does NOT predict mortality directly (use Rockall score for mortality).
- Does not require endoscopy to complete.
Validated for risk of blood transfusion and hemostatic intervention. Best cutoff for low-risk outpatient management is GBS <=1.
