PCOS Risk Score (Rotterdam Criteria)

Assesses likelihood of polycystic ovary syndrome using Rotterdam or AE-PCOS criteria.

Irregular cycles >35 days or <8 cycles/year, or absent periods.
Modified Ferriman-Gallwey score ≥4-6 (ethnicity-dependent) or severe acne/androgenic alopecia.
Elevated total or free testosterone, or free androgen index.
≥20 follicles per ovary (2-9 mm) or ovarian volume ≥10 mL (using newer thresholds).
Must exclude thyroid disease, hyperprolactinemia, and non-classical adrenal hyperplasia.
