Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST-10)

A 10-item brief screening tool for assessing drug use (excluding alcohol and tobacco) in the past 12 months. Items 3 and 4 are reverse-scored in some versions; the standard DAST-10 uses Yes=1, No=0 for all items with items 3 and 4 phrased positively (e.g., 'Do you abuse more than one drug?' Yes=1). Some versions reverse-score items 4-5; we provide both options.

Reverse scored: Yes=0, No=1

Reverse scored: Yes=0, No=1

Note: Some implementations do not reverse-score items 4 and 5 but instead phrase them as negative statements. Ensure your scoring matches the version used locally.
