⚠️ Warnings & Contraindications
- Not recommended for children <2 years for most indications
- May cause hepatotoxicity; monitor LFTs for prolonged therapy
- Contraindicated in pregnancy
- Corticosteroids and anticonvulsants may be needed concurrently for neurocysticercosis
- Treat all household members for pinworm simultaneously
ℹ️ Clinical Notes
Tablet available as 200 mg. Oral suspension may be compounded. For pinworm, treat all household contacts and emphasize hygiene measures.
