- For infants, weight velocity (g/day) is more informative than single percentile
- Crossing 2 major percentile lines may indicate nutritional or health problem
- WHO charts describe optimal growth of breastfed infants; CDC charts are based on mixed feeding US population
ℹ️ Clinical Notes
WHO weight-for-age charts extend to 10 years for girls and 11.5 years for boys. CDC charts extend to 36 months and 240 months respectively.
