⚠️ Warnings & Contraindications

  • Oral gel: place on affected area and do not feed immediately after application
  • Topical cream may cause local irritation or burning
  • Vaginal products not appropriate for prepubertal girls
  • Drug interactions possible with oral gel due to CYP3A4 inhibition
  • Monitor for choking risk with oral gel in young infants
  • For recurrent thrush, investigate immunodeficiency or poorly controlled diabetes

Oral gel: 24 mg/mL. Cream: 2%. Powder: 2%. Vaginal cream: 2%, 4%. Often first-line for oral thrush in infants. Nystatin is an alternative.
